About Nutfield Volunteers
In Nutfield, we want to be able to respond to fallen trees on footpaths, scrub clearance, conservation projects and assisting in the reinstatement of the Marsh. Full training in the use of chainsaws and the like will be provided. In other parishes, the County Council has almost entirely funded this group as they recognise clear cost benefits under the ‘Localism’ strand of government and above all, it provides an opportunity to get outside, get dirty and get something done – and to meet your neighbours. How many of you walk our footpaths and have to limbo the many trees still un-cleared from last Winter – so get involved !
