TIME TO GROW YOUR OWN...

Growing your own fruit and veg has become a very popular past-time, with waiting lists for most allotment sites across the area.

Nutfield Parish Council runs a very friendly and community spirited allotment garden site situated off Scout Hut Lane (just off Mid Street).

The allotment gardens were established before the World War under the Allotments Act 1908 (as subsequently amended). The site is divided into approximately 50 plots, with a mixture of full or half plots within the site. Full plots each measuring approx. 30 yards long by 9 yards wide (27.4 mtr x 8.2 mtr), which are rented out on an annual basis. Rentals are reviewed annually.

All plots are currently full, and we have a very small waiting list. Nutfield parish residents are given priority when an allotment becomes vacant. Please contact the Parish Clerk for further details as the list changes all the time.
