The Village Hall hosts a wide variety of groups and events, from regular users who visit the Hall weekly, to one-off hirers who hold parties and other events at the Hall. As it is a limited company, it cannot run without its volunteer trustees. To secure the future of the village hall, there is a need for more trustees, and in particular a chairman to head up the management committee. The Chair is a voluntary position and will liaise with the Village Hall Co-ordinator, call and chair the village hall meetings (usually every quarter) and to sign company documents. It is an essential role for the future of the Village hall and estimated to take up 4 hours per month.
