Apply for a government backed Start Up Loan of £500 to £25,000 to start or grow your business. Unlike a business loan, this is an unsecured personal loan. You’ll get free support and guidance to help write your business plan, and successful applicants get up to 12 months of free mentoring.
Simply Business has put together details of the different small business grants available depending on the sector you want to go into. Visit Simply Business to find out more.
Invest4 grant funds are part of the ERDF funded Hot House programme, run by University of Chichester. The grants programme is managed by Brighton & Hove City Council. Grants are available to both pre-start and to growing established businesses.
These are match-fund grants where the 40% balance is provided by Invest4 for:
- Small grants of between £2,000 to £5,000. For these you submit a small grants application form. Start ups can only apply for small grants.
- Large grants of between £5,000 to £170,000. For these you need to submit an Expression of Interest form in the first instance.
You can request an application form and guidance at email@example.com.
