Tandridge District Council are holding the first of 5 public exhibitions of their Garden Village proposals – Nutfield Parish Council encourage residents to attend this Public Exhibition and familiarise themselves with the proposals offered by TDC.
REDHILL AERODROME PLAN FOR UP TO 8,000 HOMES
The proposal that will have a major impact on Nutfield Parish is the plan to close Redhill Aerodrome and replace it with up to 8,000 homes on the very edge of South Nutfield. It is one of 4 sites being considered by TDC.
If adopted this proposal would change our rural Parish beyond recognition. The Parish would be effectively merged with Whitebushes and Salfords.
Our Green Belt rural village location would change to an urban environment, a suburb between Croydon and Gatwick Airport. Don’t let this happen.
