There has been many recent reports of crime in Nutfield Parish to vehicles and houses. The Parish Council are very concerned with this behaviour and are considering installing CCTV to provide evidence to the Police if an incident occurs. CCTV schemes in Smallfield and Bletchingley have seen a significant reduction in reported crime.

CCTV would be provided in public places only, would be placed in strategic locations and any recordings secured and restricted. We would follow all guidelines given by the Information Commissioner to comply with GDPR requirements and follow the surveillance camera code of practice. We would also be compliant with the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000.

We would like the opinion of Parishioners on this project.
