Nutfield Parish Council require an assistant to help the Parish Clerk with a variety of administration and practical tasks.

Duties are varied and include general administration support, managing the cemetery and allotments, issuing invoices, occasional note-taking and updating the Council website.

The job offered is a part-time position (approx. 7 hours per week) and additional hours may be available on an occasional basis.

The pay rate will be £10 per hour. The work involves being part of a team as well as dealing with the public so candidates should demonstrate a good level of customer care when meeting people, on the phone or in writing. The job is home based with site visits in Nutfield so the applicant must have their own transport.

Other skills required are a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook plus good organisational skills. The position is available immediately.
